Ordering and minimums
What is the minimum order for custom boxes?
Most styles start at 100 units, including mailer, shipping, rigid, magnetic, two-piece and drawer boxes. Paperboard cartons (tuck end, auto-lock bottom, sleeves) start at 250 units because they are printed on larger presses. Pouches and some specialty formats have higher minimums. Each product page lists its minimum.
How do I place an order?
Request a quote with your box style, size, material, print, finishes and quantity. After you accept it, we send a dieline, check your artwork, send a proof and start production after you approve and pay. See how it works.
Can I order several designs in one order?
Yes. Different designs in the same style and size can often share setup. Different sizes or styles are quoted as separate line items.
Do you sell stock (plain) boxes?
We focus on custom sizes and printing. Plain boxes in custom sizes are available from 100 units when you need an exact fit without print.
Can I reorder the same boxes?
Yes. Send your previous order number and quantity. Reorders are faster because dielines, artwork and setup already exist. The Reorder Program locks pricing for 12 months.
Pricing and payment
How much do custom boxes cost?
It depends on style, size, material, print, finishes and quantity. Estimated prices for every style are on our pricing page and each product page; your quote confirms the exact price.
Why is the price per box lower at higher quantities?
Setup (plates, dies and machine make-ready) is a fixed cost spread over every unit. More units means less setup per box.
Is shipping included?
Yes, delivery within the contiguous US is included in estimates and quotes. Alaska, Hawaii, remote areas and expedited freight are quoted separately.
What payment methods do you accept?
PayPal, credit and debit cards (processed by Stripe), Wise and bank transfer. Other methods can be arranged on request. Payment links or bank details are sent with your invoice, and terms are confirmed in your quote; production usually starts after payment in full or an agreed deposit. We never ask for card details by email, chat or phone.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Setup, dielines, artwork checks and proofs are included. Optional extras such as printed samples, rush production or special delivery are quoted upfront.
Design and artwork
Do you provide dielines?
Yes, free, for your exact style and size. You can also generate one instantly with our Dieline Generator.
What file formats do you accept?
Vector PDF, AI, EPS and SVG are best. High-resolution PSD, TIFF, PNG and JPG work for images. See our artwork guidelines.
Can you design my packaging?
Yes. Send your logo, colors and ideas. Simple layouts are included with your order; extensive custom illustration and brand design are quoted separately.
Will my colors match exactly?
We print in CMYK and can match Pantone spot colors. Screens cannot show exact print color, so supply Pantone references for brand colors and consider a printed sample for color-critical work.
What is bleed and why do I need it?
Bleed is artwork that extends past the cut line (usually 1/8 in) so no white edge shows if the cut shifts slightly. Keep important text inside the safe zone, 1/8 in inside the fold and cut lines.
Do you check my artwork?
Yes. Every file gets a free check for resolution, bleed, safe zones, color mode, fonts and finish layers before the proof.
Proofs and samples
Will I see a proof before production?
Always. You receive a digital proof and 3D preview. Nothing prints until you approve in writing.
Can I get a physical sample?
Yes: a sample kit of stock styles and finishes, a plain structural sample in your size, or a printed pre-production sample. See samples.
How many proof revisions can I request?
As many as you need before approval.
Production and delivery
How long does production take?
Typically 10–14 business days after proof approval for corrugated boxes, cartons and pouches, and 12–16 business days for rigid, magnetic and two-piece boxes. Accessories are often faster.
How long does shipping take?
Usually 3–7 business days within the contiguous US after production, with tracking.
Can you rush an order?
Sometimes, depending on style, finishes and current capacity. Tell us your in-hand date when you request a quote.
Do boxes arrive flat?
Corrugated and paperboard boxes ship flat to save space and are folded in seconds. Rigid boxes ship assembled.
Where are your boxes made?
We work with a vetted network of packaging manufacturers and match each order to the partner best suited to its structure and material. Our team manages specification, proofing, quality checks and delivery across the contiguous US.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Our service is designed for brands receiving packaging in the United States. Contact us about other destinations.
Materials and quality
What is the difference between corrugated and paperboard?
Corrugated has a fluted middle layer between liners, making it strong for shipping. Paperboard is a single solid sheet used for retail cartons. See the materials guide.
What board strength do I need?
E-flute 32 ECT suits most e-commerce mailers under about 10 lb. Heavier products need B- or C-flute, 44 ECT or double-wall. Check stacking with the Box Strength Calculator.
Are your boxes food safe?
We can supply food-contact materials and coatings for direct food contact on request. Tell us whether food touches the packaging so we specify suitable materials.
What if my boxes have a defect?
Report it with photos under our reprint guarantee. If there is a production defect or the boxes do not match your approved proof, we reprint or refund.
Sustainability
Are your boxes recyclable?
Most of our corrugated and paperboard packaging is recyclable in curbside programs across the US. Plastic laminations, magnets, foam and plastic windows can affect recyclability; we flag these when you choose them.
Can you use recycled content?
Yes. Many corrugated and paperboard grades contain recycled fiber. Ask for recycled options in your quote.
Can I print "eco-friendly" on my box?
We recommend specific, accurate claims instead, in line with the FTC Green Guides: for example "Made with recycled fiber. Please recycle." See our sustainability page.
